2010-11 Budget News
Information about our 2010-11 school budget will be posted on our website as soon as we receive our budget figures from the State. We anticipate having information available on or about March 22.
We encourage you to participate in the budget process by attending a workshop meeting on Thursday, March 18 in the Knollwood Media Center beginning at 7pm. At this meeting, the Fair Haven Board of Education and district administrators will review the preliminary budget and discuss potential cuts for next year. Public comment is welcome at this session.
On Wednesday, March 24 at 7pm in Knollwood Media Center, the Board will hold a public budget hearing. At this meeting, the Board will approve the preliminary budget and its submission to the Department of Education, Monmouth County Office for approval.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Fair Haven School District, a small caring community that values education, is to provide students with a broad academic foundation, to nurture their talents and abilities, and to inspire them to become life-long learners. All students will achieve the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards at all grade levels.

The Fair Haven Public School District is comprised of two schools: The Viola L Sickles School (Pre-K-3) and the Knollwood School (4-8). Students in grades 9-12 attend Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School.
