Fair Haven Awarded 'Model District for World Language Instruction'
The Fair Haven School District has been named by the State Department of Education as having a Model Program for World Language Instruction. Only a handful of districts statewide qualify for this honor. The genesis of this award began several years ago as the district embraced a philosophy of world language instruction whereby students spend most of their class time conversing in the language as opposed to textbook-driven activities. Our Sickles and Knollwood students continue to be the beneficiaries of this dynamic world language program.
